Landslide Disrupts Train Services Between Sakleshpur and Ballupete; Multiple Trains Regulated

On the night of August 10, 2024, approximately at 12:30 AM, a landslide between Sakleshpur and Ballupete has led to significant disruptions in train services. The following train services have been regulated, with further updates to be provided as the situation evolves:

1. Train No. 16511 KSR Bengaluru – Kannur Express: This train, which commenced its journey on August 9, 2024, will be regulated at Alur.
2. Train No. 16585 SMVT Bengaluru – Murdeshwar Express: The service, starting on August 9, 2024, will be regulated at Hassan.
3. Train No. 16586 Murdeshwar – SMVT Bengaluru Express: This train, also starting on August 9, 2024, will be regulated at Sakleshpur.
4. Train No. 16512 Kannur – KSR Bengaluru Express: Journeying from August 9, 2024, this train will be regulated at Sakleshpur.
5. Train No. 16596 Karwar – KSR Bengaluru Panchaganga Super-Fast Express: This train, which began its journey on August 9, 2024, will be regulated at Donigal.

Relief materials and rescue teams are on site, and restoration work is currently underway.
